CURIO is the rare-cut diamond specialism of Anjali Design Studio, an independent atelier in Panchwati, Rajasthan. We've been making jewellery here for over twenty years.
The atelier sits in a quiet residential lane in Panchwati, Udaipur — a city that has lived alongside stones for longer than most countries have existed. The studio is small. You will likely be the only client in the room. We prefer this.
We work with lab-grown diamonds because they let us specify exactly what we want — a particular cut, a particular crystal quality, a particular size of rough — without the ethical compromises of mined stones. When you ask for a Portuguese cut in a specific clarity and carat range, we can source it. That isn't true with mined diamonds at this scale.
Every stone is independently certified by IGI or GIA. Every setting is made in our workshop in Udaipur. We sell to clients who care about the difference between a default and a choice — and who would rather own one piece that means something than several that don't.
A room, a loupe, and as much time as you need.

Walk-ins welcome.
The studio is open most days, but stones are easier to view when we know you are coming. WhatsApp or email us a day before and we'll set out specific cuts you want to see.
An unhurried hour.
We will lay out the cuts you've asked about, walk you through the certificate for each, and let you compare them in different light. There is no pressure to decide on the day and no pressure to buy at all.
If you're commissioning a piece, the conversation starts here too: stone, setting, metal, ring size, timeline. Most pieces are finished within two to three weeks of confirmation.
